Part 2 (continued) - Create Texture Fill
This is the continuation of part 2 of the tutorial. Below you will find steps 7 thur 9.

I have divided the tutorial into 3 parts. Part 1-Create the Seamless Cloud Tile. Part 2-Create the Texture Fill. Part 3-Apply the Texture Fill.

  1. Sill working on image in Step 6.
    1. From Photoshop menu choose: Select > All
    2. From Photoshop menu choose: Filter > Stylize > Emboss

  1. Once the Emboss option box appears, set the angle to 135 degrees, height to 1 pixel, and the amount to 100%.

    Note: If you set the height to more than 1 pixel, the texture can become too bumpy for text to be seen clearly, so use your own judgement. Remember that when you apply the texture, you can adjust the "Relief" option for a more pronounced texture. (See Part 3 - step 3 for "Relief" setting).

  1. You texture should look similar to the image on the right. If using Photoshop 6, save your psd file in your:
    Photoshop\Presets\Textures
    folder.
